Set in modern times - though the specific year is purposefully left vague - a ragtag trio has come together, each with a unique skill set, to form an organization specializing in paranormal treasure/monster hunting. This team of self-made adventurers have their work cut out for them. Since the majority of the world remains skeptical to the paranormal and the mythic nature of legends, the trio are one of the only groups of their kind.

 

Although their main interest is in finding mythical items with magical power, secret technology with the ability to enter different dimensions, ancient knowledge of arcane arts, and more, they are also responsible for tending to calls for the occasional haunted home or gnome infestation. No call is too small as they've dedicated to taking on even the most un-glamorous of jobs if it means further pursuing their research and keeping the world safe from harmful paranormal and mythic entities.

 

The overall concept and tone can be compared to a mix of Scooby-Doo, Ghostbusters, Uncharted, and Ocean's Eleven. Even when dealing with dark themes, there's always a lighthearted tone with humor underlying the story. With power, knowledge, and treasure at stake, the group isn't afraid to cause some trouble but they still remain to be "hearts of gold" with a true passion for their work.
